Jeremy Katz

Jeremy Katz represents experienced health and fitness writers and strongly credentialed medical professionals who promote ideas that can change lives. He looks for business and personal development authors who can take ideas from the boardroom, the business schools, or the lecture circuit and adapt them for the broadest possible market. In addition, Katz seeks out strong voices in narrative non-fiction. Katz develops new, talented writers who can tell a true story with the force and power of a novel.

Katz's nearly 20 years of experience in the publishing industry includes more than 15 years working as an editor at several distinguished publishers. He began at St. Martin's Press, where he published the #1 New York Times Bestseller THE ARTHRITIS CURE, and then joined Putnam, publishing breakout health, fitness, and narrative titles. Katz was recruited by Rodale to lead its nascent Men's Health and Sports Book Group, publishing more than 30 titles a year. While there, he published two New York Times Bestsellers: PETE ROSE: MY PRISION WITHOUT BARS (#1) and million-copy franchise THE ABS DIET.

Katz also writes for Men's Health, Bicycling, and other consumer magazines.

Katz graduated with honors from Yale University. He and his wife have one son.
